We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Plant Manager to lead the company’s production, maintenance, quality, safety, warehousing, and logistics operations while also driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and company standards related to aerosol manufacturing, flammable materials, and hazardous chemicals. The plant manager will collaborate closely with the production, sales, and management teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
General
  • Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality assurance, shipping/receiving, and warehouse activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements associated with aerosol manufacturing and hazardous materials handling.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture with emphasis on OSHA compliance, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.
  • Manage production schedules to meet customer demands, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics including efficiency, downtime, scrap, labor utilization, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and waste reduction.
  • Oversee maintenance programs for aerosol filling lines, compressed gas systems, conveyors, labeling equipment, and related machinery.
  • Ensure all aerosol filling and packaging operations comply with applicable quality and GMP standards.
  • Manage staffing levels, employee performance, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations related to aerosol storage, labeling, and transportation.
  • Lead plant audits, inspections, and interactions with regulatory agencies and customers.
  • Support new product launches, process improvements, and equipment installations.
  • Foster a positive work environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and employee development.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within aerosol, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or high-speed packaging industries.
  • Prior experience managing operations involving flammable materials, compressed gases, or hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and hazardous material regulations.
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  • Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing reporting systems.
